Please note: While on Maria Island, we are in a National Park. We are exposed to the elements of the day. There are no vehicles on the island, so please ensure you are wearing walking shoes and comfortable clothing. You will need a day pack with your gear in it and you will be required to carry this day pack for the duration of the day.

- Day pack, camera, comfortable footwear for walking, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, water bottle, swimming gear. Warm jumper and rain jacket if the weather is not so good.

Maria Island is a short cruise off the East Coast of Tasmania. It is rich in local wildlife, amazing scenery and world heritage history. With no cars on the island, we enjoy a series of short walks exploring this unique Island National park.
Join us for some breathtaking views on a sequence of great short walks around the north of Maria, exploring the fossil cliffs, Darlington convict site, oast history and stunning Painted Cliffs with wombats, Cape Barren Geese and wild majestic kangaroos for company. Crossing Mercury Passage en route you may even see the resident dolphins, penguins and seals playing in the clear waters. From mountain tops to deserted white sandy beaches, Maria Island has it all.
