One of the iconic eateries of Battery Point, This cafe provides a diverse range of options targeted towards people who comes more for the food than for the coffee. It has menus for breakfast and lunch, with predominantly paninis and pastries. It has a great atmosphere, is very popular with the locals (a good sign) and definitely a nice eatery to experience and share with some friends over breakfast, brunch or lunch.

A bright funky style cafe that is a mix of street art and classic Mediterranean. This is one of those great places for an alfresco breakfast or a slow lunch. The breakfast menu is extensive and there is a wonderful range of vegan options, not surprising for a place that prides itself on its range of healthy dishes and sides.

Polished stone floors, wooden fittings, plenty of space, great music and friendly staff create a great atmosphere for a relaxing meal after a busy day. Smolt has an extensive Italian and Spanish influenced menu, the coffee is good as is the service, even when busy. This modern cafe/bar/eatery is one of the higher rated restaurants in Hobart, so booking beforehand is recommended, particularly for weekend dinners. Good food, casual atmosphere, friendly staff.

Creating a very cosy relaxing dining room. Outside al fresco covered dining area, at pavement level, with comfortable seating.
