Dome Coffees is an excellent chain of cafes which are well known and highly respected in their home state of Western Australia. Hobart's Dome in the Elizabeth Street Mall is one of three in Tasmania (the others are at Sandy Bay and Hobart Airport), and it maintains the same high standard and range of quality, budget priced meals and snacks found across the country.

Conveniently located in the middle of the CBD, Villino is comparable to top Melbourne's top cafes, and that is high praise. The coffee is excellent with range of flavours to choose from; their breakfasts and lunches keeps them busy at peak periods. Soft background music creates a great atmosphere and allows patrons to chat without having to compete with the music.

Old warehouses make great eating/drinking spaces, and this one certainly has a casual, hip/retro feel about it. It's a pub, restaurant and cafe all rolled into one. There is plenty of room, the atmosphere is lively, the food excellent and quite original (somewhat upmarket), and they offer an internet service and board games thrown in for good measure. Breakfast is served Saturdays and Sundays.
